These cranks exceed NKA & AKRA stroke rules to achieve maximum horse power. The stroke of the crankshaft is +2.140". We then take the crank gears and zero them out or advance (cam retarded) them for true and accurate cam timing.
The tighter the advance, the more bottom end the cam will have, making it better out of the hole, on short tracks and bull rings. The more advance, the more mid-range and top end power, allowing for more horsepower to be made on big high speed tracks.

0 deg (no advance) - Tight Bullrings, Smaller Tracks, Restricted Engines
.020 deg advance - Mid Size 1/5th mile semi banked tracks
.035 deg advance - 1/5th mile high banked or bigger tracks
