TRJ Karting AKRA CNC Ported Cylinder heads are among the best in the country and were developed after months flow work, dyno testing and redesigns. These heads are CNC machined for consistent quality head to head. they are completely Blue Printed and built within the guidelines of the AKRA rule book.

These heads come bare or assembled and are ready to bolt on. Assembled heads come with Shorter and Lighter Valves, your choice of TRJ Karting Race Series, WMS Tuck n' Run or Dyno Cam Valve Springs with the spring height already set.

While bolting on the 2017 AKRA head will boost performance, typically s much as .3-.8 peak hp with a quality build. We do highly recommend using our 2017 AKRA Ported Head Carburetor, AKRA Camshaft and Header to achieve the largest gains possible, upwards of 1.3-1.5 peak hp.

Every head goes through the following process,the seats and guides are removed. Our heads are then heat cycled in a 4500w oven for 6 hours, ice chilled then heat cycled for another 6 hours, reducing seat warpage during initial engine use. CNC machine work is performed, then the heads are hand finished, and the intake runner is shot peened for improved atomization. New Guides are installed and squared to the seat, new proprietary valve seats are installed then cut on a Newen CNC Valve Seat machine. Heads are then ready for assembly.
